6N2 or 6N1 6N6 6N11 6922 ECC88 E88CC vacuum tubes were originally used on the machine. After plugging in the adapter, you can use 12AX7 or 12AU7 12AT7 ECC81 ECC82 ECC83 vacuum tubes.

My Vali 2 came with an ecc88 tube this adapter allows me to use an ecc83 tube ! Sounds incredible

I purchased two of these converters (C Copper Bakelite). First, shipping time was excellent. They arrived extremely quickly via air from China to So. California (6 days total from order to delivery). I am using them to tube roll some different types of tubes in the Valhalla 2 tube amp and these converters work perfectly for me with this application. I've used them with 12xx7 tubes.The fit for the tubes into the converter is nice and tight, but that is actually highly desirable for me since the tube and converter come out together as a unit when I want to remove them from the amp. Getting the converter by itself out of the Valhalla 2 would have been really difficult given the way the amp was designed. Although the fit of the tubes into the converters is tight, I have absolutely no difficultly adding or removing tubes from the converter by gently rocking them in or out. In short, these are perfect converters for me. 100% recommended.

Bought these for my Reisong A10 amplifier so I could use my selection of 12AX7’s. Fit and finish is remarkable. I suggest getting the Copper Bakelites for longevity. Shipping was reasonable and the company is top notch!

My tube amp is wired for 6n2 which is still a 9-pin socket. This allows me to run 12AX7 tubes of which there are more options and manufacturers than 6n2. The build quality seems to be absolutely top notch. They have a great weight and finish with stickers you can put on if you like. The fit into the sockets on my amp was very tight, so you may not want to be yanking it out all the time. On the top with the tube they are also very tight. Best method would be putting tube in adapter and once mated into the amp. There is absolutely zero hum or issue with these. I have been using them about 5 hours as I speak. Will update if things change.

I installed this 12ax7 to 6N2 adapter on my Dared MP-5BT headphone amplifier and installed a 12ax7 Genalex Gold Lion tube on it and it works perfectly! Sound quality is way better than the 6N2 Chinese tube that comes with the Dared. Shipping time could be better. It does take 2 to 3 weeks to get it in shipping because it ships directly from China. It has solid gold pins and ceramic receptacle and is well built.
