I selected "New" for this loom, not "Used Good", however, there is glue all over the pegs and they are easily popping out, the red yarn was missing the sleave cover, and it has what looks like long white animal hair in it, possibly dog or cat hair. It advertised to come with 5 yarns and only 4 arrived, and again, one was already opened missing the sleave and had animal hair in it. Very odd to have happen if I were truly sent the brand new loom, as I ordered.

I'm working on my first scarf to then bring my granddaughters into it. The written instructions and images are very difficult to follow. If the pegs were numbered, that would be helpful. I googled for a good YouTube in order to be successful. There are lots of options for these... I might look around next time depending on how the next projects go.

I bought these because my 7yr old grandson wanted to knit his mom a scarf for Christmas. With some help, he was able to knit a scarf but he liked it so much he kept it. Made her a pot holder instead, haha. With a bit more assistance, his four year old brother was also able to use it. Great for adults and children alike!

The yarn is to thin to use as a scarf and each yarn is only about a quarter of a scarf not even good for a pot holder

The loom itself is on par with other name-brand looms I've used in the past. The yarn is nice, and it comes with 5 "badges" which are super cute animal pins. Also has 5 sew-on labels indicating "Hand Made".The instructions are very confusing, even for someone who's done this before. Definitely wouldn't be easy for children to decipher how to make a hat. I recommend finding a round loom hat tutorial on YouTube to learn this process for the first time. This is a solid kit, if you already know how to use a round loom.
