The new design of our ink refill (alcohol dye ink) enables quick and clean refills with precision and control.
Copic Ink can be a great tool for creating alcohol ink art. You can apply the ink directly to the appropriate medium.
Copic Ink (12 mL) can be used to refill any of our 4 marker types: Sketch, Ciao, Classic and Wide (the Wide marker only comes as an empty marker.)
Copic Sketch
- Amount of ink for 1 refill: approx. 1.8 mL
- Number of times you can refill: approx. 7 times
Copic Classic
- Amount of ink for 1 refill: approx. 2.5 mL
- Number of times you can refill: approx. 5 times
Copic Ciao
- Amount of ink for 1 refill: approx. 1.4 mL
- Number of times you can refill: approx. 9 times
Copic Wide
- Amount of ink for 1 refill: approx. 3.5 mL
- Number of times you can refill: approx. 3.5 times
How to refill Copic markers
1. Uncap both ends of the marker
2. Using the tweezer tool, pull the broad nib from the base
3. Insert Copic Ink nozzle into the core of the marker and refill the ink by squeezing the bottle gently
4. Once completed, insert the nib back in place

I don't know if it was the ink formula but out of all the copic ink I have purchased, this one was the most difficult to use. It was also the most messy. Maybe I received a faulty bottle? Who knows.

I DO like Copic black ink. MUCH more than I like Copic markers. And I go through black markers like chewing gum. So I buy the refill ink and use it in Crayola Marker Maker tubes and tips. In this regard, the ink goes down great, refills easy, I like the refill container. I get many filling from each container. Fairly un-erasable over most medium. A good solid easy to use black. I wouldn't mind a slightly better price, but all in all, not bad.

The marker leaked during transit and was a mess when the package was opened. My main complaint is the ridiculous difficulty in getting a refund or replacement. Amazon only sends me to the manufacturer to deal with it. The manufacturer makes it terribly difficult to address the issue. So I am finally giving up with customer service and just throwing it away. I will not purchase again, as it’s not worth the time and hassle if something goes wrong.

Product is good quality but pricey! The benefit of a Copic marker is you can purchase refills for them and they tend to not streak like other markers. I may purchase again depending if price continues to increase.

This refill worked really well, but the shipping was kind of slow. (It did say it might take a month or two, so it’s not like I wasn’t warned) Overall, good product, but the shipping was slow.
