this says 18v but on the box it says 21v. I don't know if Makita makes 21v but if they do this advertisement needs to read 21v

My Makita batteries fit this machine perfectly. Now I have the ability to professionally fix any issues on my car, as well as on my friends' cars. I also like the battery level indicator. Recommend

This is a nice rotary buffer. I wish I had one of these back when I would do headlights. Sometimes the vehicle would be in a parking lot and there was no electricity. I’d have to use an inverter and hook it to my car battery. This would’ve been very helpful. Even though I don’t do that anymore, it is nice to have for quick jobs. Touching up scratches, foggy headlights, or just a quick polish and wax job. No cords getting caught on tires. No extension cord draped over my shoulders. This has plenty of power and depending on the battery size, plenty of juice to do a car. I used this with my 4ah Makita batteries to polish/wax the car and it was great. It worked well with my OEM Makita batteries and third party batteries. I use it without the extra handle. I’m just used to it that way. The backing is good and should last me a handful of times before swapping it out. I think for the price, it’s a good value and about on par with other similar cordless buffers. It is nice that this can use Makita batteries and has the same color scheme to match my other tools. Solid rotary buffer.

This not a toy buffer. It is very heavy and is exactly as described by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, for me, there is no battery included, and my current set of batteries will not fit on it nordo they make an adapter for my battery to fit on it. So that is going to cost me at least $50 to purchase the battery and the battery charger but if you already have the battery, obviously that’s a better outcome.
