Packed so well. I purchased 2 last year and was so pleased that I purchased 2 more a cpl of days ago.Gorgeous, long-blooming perennials here in Ct. I wasn't sure last yr how they would do in only 4-5 hrs of sun daily, but they bloomed their heads off.Only drawback is rabbits fancy them. A cpl of sprays of deer and rabbit repellent takes care of that problem.

It came loaded with flower buds but not too many leaves. It is very healthy though. I planted it and it has been growing, leafing out and flowering since.

When I saw in the description that this was a size one container plant I thought it would be like the size one container plants that one gets from nurseries. The growth on top is less than expected, however it has a tremendous root system which completely filled the container. Very healthy plant and it was very well packaged.

I can understand why people would be hesitant to purchase "live" plants online because you can't look at them prior to purchase or know how they will arrive. Since this was an AMAZON purchase and not another vendor I was a little more ready to purchase, because if the product arrived defective or damaged I could possibly get a replacement. I ordered a Zagreb coreopsis prior to this most recent one from Amazon and the zagreb arrived okay and thrived (it bloomed all last summer). So I decided to order another in the bi-color variety this spring. The plant actually arrived sooner than expected (less than a week) and was packed in a big box to protect it. I was at home to get it off the porch after it was delivered and my husband helped me unpack it immediately. It looked okay, the soil was a little dry so I gave it a little water, but the leaves were green. That is why I order in the Spring instead of the Fall as plants can arrive dormant in the Fall. It has remained on my front porch for awhile to acclimate for awhile prior to planting and looks healthy. Should you decide to order just make sure to watch arrival dates and be around to unpack your plant immediately to assess and take care of it. I watch the frost dates for my area when ordering too making sure to plant after the last frost in Spring and prior to any frosts in the fall. I am satisfied with both the plants I received.

Delivery was quick and the plants were all large, healthy and in bloom. I ordered 6 plants from this nursery. They all settled in quickly after planting as if they didn't travel at all. I will be definitely be ordering again from this nursery! The best plants yet!

Enchanted Eve Review: I just received this variety 2 days ago. I bought it for the colors, zone tolerance, height, deer and rabbit resistant nature, and most of all - the great reviews of other people! What I didn’t realize was that the other reviews were for the other 2 varieties and this one was never mentioned! The delivery was ok via UPS this time, as opposed to the multiple poor ones with my other plant orders. I carefully unpacked the plant from the large, tall cardboard box, being extremely careful not to damage the plant in the process. Once I got it out my mouth dropped open - I couldn’t believe the condition of it. I spent over an hour (and at night, with only the garage lights and outdoor light) in an effort to fix it up as best I could, and can only hope it survives! It was soaking wet (apparently overwatered before shipping); the tallest and largest stems were broken, just flopping over; more than 1/2 the leaves had fallen off and were laying on the bottom of the box; what leaves were remaining on the plant were dry and brittle - as soon as I touched one of them it fell off the stem; etc. I could go on and on but needless to say I’m not sure if it’s going to survive. The ONLY positive comment I can make right now is that I haven’t seen any signs of insects or other infestations, but time will tell when I take it out of the pot it’s in now. I saw some of the tiny buds and a few small flowers (of course they were the ones that broke off!) and I’m not sure if I even received the correct plant - the one I ordered shows it has 3 different colors in the flowers, and mine were just a light yellow color. Time will tell about this too! I was hoping to get a good plant in this order, with the possibility of ordering the other 2 varieties to plant with this one. Having the same type of plant growing in 3 various, but coordinated colors and heights, with the same requirements and the bonus of having both a deer and rabbit resistant nature was a wonderful solution for a now empty garden bed just off my patio. I really thought I hit the jackpot with this plant variety, but we’ll see what happens in time - at which point I’ll update my review.FYI: I live in zone 7 and this one is ok for zone 5 +, while the other 2 will be ok for zone 3 +, something to be aware of when you’re ordering one of them! However they’re all perennials!
