The sharp corner on the game itself can provide a nasty gash if a kid falls on it. The protectors protect the game's corners and the kid's heads.

Maybe I'm being picky, but every single one of the 12 has one side with the same rough, imprinted pattern. Maybe 5-10 thousandths of an inch, so extremely subtle, but noticable when it catches the light. I assume from some sort of residue on the mold. Other two sides are fine. I can think of a hundred applications where I wouldn't give this a second thought, but the particular thing I'm using them for here I was wanting a slightly higher level of fit & finish.

Didn’t really know what to expect when I ordered these, just hoped for the best. When they arrived and I opened the box I was happy with what I received. The corners pieces are easy to install, are very thin and doesn’t hinder the bags or hold them on the board. I hope they hold up, only time will tell.
