Not as sensitive as a New Zealand wool strike indicator, I use it when fishing in riffles

I tried several different strike indicators from yarn to some styrofoam things. I like these better. In the extra small size they're very good for the size of streamers and weighted nymphs you'll throw with a 5wt fly rod equipped with a normal floating line. It can still be a bit chuck and duck with the larger ones.My only gripe is that occasionally my leader can really dig down into the rubber loop making it difficult to adjust the position (and therefore depth of the fly). An optimist would say that it's a good thing because it also won't slip.

Worked well.... fish can't see them but I can. Would recommend.

These are really good looking and effective. Natural cork on the bottom, for camo, white on top, so you can see it.Can use it as a strike indicator, or adjust for depth control.Works well. Love them.

These are good, durable indicators. they are easy to put on, remove, and adjust. they are a bit more dense than other indicators, making them a little less buoyant. That makes them a little more sensitive to strikes, which I appreciate. They also seem to cast a little easier than regular foam indicators, and much easier than the air filled Thingamabobbers.

Unlike other reviewed, there is no slip. It's still light and small, but visible in river. I like it!

I’m not one to use any kind of strike indicator while fly fishing nymphs. I’ve used other strike indicators in the past and I didn’t like them for a lot of reasons. I bought these and I was really surprised at how easy they were to install on my leader and they doubled as a leader straightener which surprised me. They are very light, castable, and visible. I purchased 1/2” and I also bought some 5/8” ones. The 1/2” ones float really high, even with some of my size 8 & 10 weighted nymphs. I’m looking forward to trying some of the 5/8” with some larger nymphs on bigger water for panfish later on. Lastly, I take them off my leader when I’m done fishing or otherwise I found that they can leave a kink where they are attached.
