The rear tire on my road bike has had several tubes in a relatively short life - mainly due to being on the wheel on trainer for a while before I upgraded to a direct drive smart trainer.However, I do need to get the bike serviceable again for road riding and after getting a new tube and a rim liner, I decided to take the plunge and add sealant to my Presta Valve tube to save me from another flat. This made the job a bit less of a mess - I'm sure that the syringe could be better but this is probably not a job that I'll be doing too often!The valve remover worked (nice piece of CNC and design) and the sealant did get into the tube - the little valve was really handy too.

A syringe like this has a ton of uses--from small electronics controlled delivery of chemicals and cleaning agents, to grease transfer into tight spaces; the list goes on an on. The components are of good quality and will last a long time. I am not sure if/when I will use it for sealant injection, but in the meantime there are plenty of other uses that make purchasing this a no-brainer!

This does exactly what it says and does it well, but I use it for extracting liquids like oil from compartments without having to turn over the whole object. The price is great and it is well made. It is really a must if you’re riding your bike in the desert around cactus because it will save you from having to change tubes as often. This is a great buy!

I made one several years ago. This one is better.When not in use, make sure the sealant is flushed out. I store it with water in the syringe.
