I got the 4 step straight ladder. It fit perfectly so that the bottom step was slightly buried in the silt. We had no problem puttung it together and mounting. It is strong enough to hold at least a 250lb person with no problem. I like that I can take the ladder off easily without having to use tools.

Ladder design racks badly side to side. It was so bad during assembly that I figured certainly once installed in place, somehow it would naturally not rack, but it still does. Also, the ladder material is not strong enough and immediately and permanently bent under standard adult load.There is no place to add support bracing to guard against racking nor bending.Returned it, which would have been easy except it is oversized and I was required to buy a $25 cardboard box from amazon’s selected shipper to complete the return - even though the ladder was certainly headed for the dumpster.

I bought this to climb down to the boat from the seawall when the water is low. Works ok. Would also be fine as a swim ladder on a pontoon boat or dock.I had purchased another (another brand) and it arrived with incorrect hooks to attach to the deck brackets. This one was identical in every detail, even packaging, but had the correct parts and a smaller instruction sheet. They might have come from the same place, so inspect carefully for quality when you receive it.Pros:- It handles my 210 lbs even when the bottom rung is above the water- Inexpensive- Lightweight, storable- Came with the correct hardwareCons:- The steps are held on by single through-bolts. The whole ladder will twist 15 degrees or so like a parallelogram.- The rails and vertical posts appear to be painted aluminum, not anodized. Doesn't bode well for a salty environment, especially where the paint will be rubbed off by the twisting.

De excelente calidad, super buen material muy resisten y fijo. Ya la probé instalada en mi lancha y su tamaño es perfecto, si le agregaría como una correa mas resistente o fija para amararla pero no necesita ya que su peso esta bastante bien para que no se levante al momento que la lancha este andando.
