The girdle has built-in hip, thigh, and tailbone pads that are made from EVA foam that protects the body and absorbs impacts. The pants feature anti-microbial material that wicks moisture away during exercise.

Got these for my son as a cheaper extra for allowing time to wash another brand in rotation. Funny enough, my son has consistently chosen these over the pricey ones to wear on the regular. I've been shocked that the first set lasted two years high school varsity and did not end up retaining smell very much (washed with order control detergent and hang dry). Always felt I should buy the expensive gear but he really doesn't care and prefers these.

My son just started freshman football and these are perfect! Pads are hard and thick enough not too bulky. Would recommend and would buy again if needed
