this seems to be a great product ease of installation perfect fit. it took a total of about 20 minutes to install. Just remember to tighten bolts to specks. here are the specifications top center bolt and nut 20 ft. lbs, lower frame bolts33 ft. lbs, and the 4 small bolts i torqued to 80 in. lbs. Remember to use blue lock tight on the bolts.

I bought this because it has the look I like. Very well made and fit my 2021 Softail Standard perfectly. Fully assembled, it is a lot lighter than the standard Harley Davidson engine guard that I took off. The center piece is heavy material, but the sides are light and I'm not sure how well they will hold up if I happen to lay the bike down in an accident. It may protect the bike when dropped in a parking lot. But, I'm not that worried about that, knock on wood, I haven't dropped a bike since 1990. Sorry about the photos I submitted, I took them right after I got them installed on the carport.

The mounting bolt for the top was too big for the hole in the frame on my 2008 fatboy despite it being listed as compatible. Luckily I had a smaller spare bolt handy to mount it. The fitment is less than perfect. Its definitely not a precision part, but for the price compared to others, it will do. Keep all nuts, bolts, and Allen screws loose until you've attached to all 3 mounting points and you can make it work. Build quality seems decent as far as finish and the machining on the threads. I'm overall satisfied with the look, and optimistic that it will do it's job when the time comes.

This item does not fit very good on my bike quality was very poor I sent it back and I am waiting for Amazon to reimburse me the money. Thanks let me know when I should expect the reimbursement. I sent it back about a week and a half ago. Thanks.

I did not think about the fact that it was going to come in a couple of pieces but it assembled easily and fit the bike as expected. I really like the appearance of these engine protector bars on my Softail Harley-Davidson motorcycle. I did have to make a slightly angled shim for the top center bolt for things to set properly but that was not difficult.

I accidentally ordered the bar for the wrong bike the first time. Customer service was awesome they quickly issued me a refund and went as far as to send me a discount code to cover the difference between the two bars as the one I needed was more expensive than the first I ordered. Super friendly and eager to help with anything you need. The bar is easy to install, fit perfectly. I like the looks of it. For the price it is a great product.
