I was very pleasantly surprised by this kit. I really like that the paintbrush holds the water and that the paint consists of dry tabs. Makes it much less messy than typical paint activity. Also colors are bright. Only negative is that you will eventually run out of the paint tabs.

Love this painting set as kids are always messy !! This keeps the paint contained and it's easy to pop out and in. Clean up is quick and easy.

I'd go for the old school watercolor pallets next time. This has a lot of little pieces which is too much to manage for watercolors. Each color has its own little circle and the paint does not last long. With my kiddos, I was replacing the circles more often than I would have liked. Not to mention that the price of this item is 3x what it is at other stores. I wish I purchased this somewhere else, at least just to try.

It only took my toddler about 30 seconds to realize she could pop out the color discs and about 1 minute to realize she could squeeze the tube hard enough to make all the water come out on the colors and paper.Does t mean we won’t use it, I do like it. But I would not say it’s cleaner than our other painting adventures.

These are great for taking with you on the road or travelling. I swear my boys can make a mess of anything, but this keeps the mess pretty limited. I was surprised how bright the colours are for being what they are. I love that you get a TON of replacement colours too, so it really does last forever.

We opened this up for my craft loving 3.5 year old, who doesn’t quite understand crafts yet. She is usually so full of energy and can’t focus long enough to do any task. We opened this up and instantly she was naming the colors as I put them in, she stopped to listen to how it works and asked if she could paint right away. It is super easy for little ones! I was nervous about the cleaning of the brush being messy but she can tell when the water is coming out and stops to wipe her brush. The colors last through a toddlers vicious wiggling to pick paint up but it’s not enough to rip through basic printer paper while painting. The color transfer is amazing and up to crayon as regular standards! Definitely a must for any little ones who are just learning to do crafts. Will recommend to anyone who wants some easy to use, less mess ideas for their kiddos! Ten out of ten would buy more
