Since upgrading to this extruder, I've seen a big boost in my print quality. The 3.5:1 gear ratio gives me precise control over the filament, so I've had fewer problems with under-extrusion and filament slipping. The metal parts feel really solid and reliable, which means consistent extrusion on all my print jobs.Maintaining it is a easy too. The metal components are easy to clean and check for wear. I haven't run into any clogging or filament jams, all thanks to the accurate extrusion and sturdy build.

All I've heard from other people who 3D print is that direct extrusion is best. I have a Qidi Max 2 and a Creality Ender 5 S1 and I got this one to put on my Creality. Even a dope like me can make the swap without too much trouble and once on and calibrated, I ran a Benchy through the thing. At 120mm per second, it printed flawlessly. I guess everyone was right. Don't fear buying this, so far, I've had zero problems with it, though I did adjust my Cura settings.
