You can quilt the same sized Clamshell design from either side of the ruler. That means you don't have to rotate the quilt and you can quilt from any side of your quilting foot. Or give Clamshell a modern update by flipping it around to create Orange Peel. Or rotate to create beautiful flower motifs. Creative Grids Grip ensures the tool doesn't slip while quilting. Black and white dashed guide lines are visible on all fabric colors. Made with 1/4in thick high-grade acrylic that is perfect for both longarm and home sewing machines. I can quilt a king size quilt in 2-3 weeks with these rulers They are easy yo use on a domestic machines. You do need to get a special foot called a ruler foot.I got a clear one easier to see what you're doing.
