I have progressively got each of the sizes of the creative grids because it’s just so much easier having the right tool for the right job I find sometimes the bigger tools are so cumbersome that you become fatigued with lots of cuts. Good quality arrived. Well highly recommend.

I am so glad to have found this ruler (thank you, Amazon for carrying it) and thanks to Creative Grids for making it! I am in the middle of making a quilt for my pregnant daughter and needed to square up the blocks before sewing them together. The blocks are supposed to measure 7.5, but I was having a hard time finding a ruler with those dimensions. Lots of 9.5 and 12.5 and even 8.5, but no 7.5 until I found it here. Why didn't I try Amazon to begin with?!The ruler is clear with gripper dots on the back to hold the ruler steady while you use the rotary cutter to trim up your block or for other cutting duties. I plan to purchase some of the other sizes Creative Grids offers and Amazon sells.

As a quilter, the rulers I use the most are my Creative Grid rulers. I thought I had all of the sizes until I started to use a quilt pattern that called for a 7 1/2" square. Panic set in because I was leaving for a quilt retreat in less than 2 wks and wanted to make that pattern. Immediately started a search on Amazon and found a vendor in another State that carried that particular ruler. The ruler arrived in time for me to take it on the retreat. I find it easier to work with and read the markings on the Creative Grid rulers. I have purchased other rulers but they sit in a box unused. A lot of time and energy goes into making a quilt and I want my tools to work with me, not against me. I don't have to add sand paper dots to the ruler to keep it from slipping while I'm using it because there are built-in raised areas that create just enough friction with fabric to prevent slippage. And the clear acrylic with black markings makes it easier to see the fabric underneath.
