I have, in the past purchased other cheaper clamping pliers. The jaws usually don't line up properly and the adjustment screw usually ends up needing pliers to adjust the fit. I have several Crescent tools and love them. Great purchase.

Expected a good quality item from Crescent, but this one is an absolute piece of junk. Roughly made, threads in screw barely turn, jaws not aligned properly. Not worth the money, I'm pretty sure you can get a far better quality one for less money.

Adjustment knob is barely turnable, as the threads are very poorly cut. Feels like gravel in the threads. Jaws align poorly and are fairly loose. I wont be buying any more Crescent products. I expected better. Rough milling on the jaws. Sharp edges.

This needle nose did a number of applications that I didn’t think would be compatible. Thick jaw was the good case for my applications.
