Ugly. I bought this for decorative purposes and useless for that. I wonder if this is a manufacturing second. It's sturdy I guess but the finish is so rough I'd worry if it was being used on rope or fabric.Quite a contrast to the picture posted by the vendor.

Crosby shackles are known for being amazing products. I bought this to use as more of a decoration, but it appears to be very well made. Mine didn't look like the picture though. It doesn't say "Crosby" or have the 45 degree stamps, it just sayd "CG" at the top for Crosby Group. I believe the picture is of a much larger shackle.
