This case is really nice. It's roomy inside, yet very trim, light and compact. Also feels like it will do a good job protecting my instrument.There are a number of nice features, showing that Crossrock put a lot of thought into the design. Such as:- adjustable insert (Velcro) that supports the neck and upper bouts.- strap with magnetic latch that holds the violin in place (over the neck)- Velcro strap to hold a shoulder pad up by the scroll- the latches seem very sturdy and open with a single motion- there are 4 bow holders, each with a nice holding mechanism- heavy duty padded backpack straps that are far nicer than anything on my other cases- a removable music pouch that's well made- a very comfortable padded handle on the side and a handy strap at the scroll end of the caseThe fit and finish is really good. I couldn't be happier with the case. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

Case is fine for what we needed however listing advertises an integrated hydrometer and the case received DOES NOT have one. False advertising for an expensive product.

UPDATED REVIEWI kept the case in the end because, despite the original irritation of the wrong item listed, the 2-latch case they sent does however have the superior arrangement of the assessory pouch on the right side as per more modern practice (this is better on the usual left side for a couple of reasons). And it's a good, solid, STRONG case for the money. So, ok, 5 stars despite a few reservations.Original review:I deliberately ordered this case as opposed to other brands' offerings because the illustrated case has THREE latches rather than two.The case they sent has two.Going back, and annoyed at the hassle.

The case feels made of good and strong material. But the dimensions are a bit small. One of the two bow places was too small, the other one was too snug and the shoulder rest needed to be improvised to fit in the case.
