This what you need to upgrade a Chrysler 8.25 from 27 spline to 29 spline if you want to keep the differential open or use lunchbox lockers. It's a fairly heavy item in a cardboard box that's not stabilized, so the box was a little beat up and so were the parts inside (giggidy). Inside the box, the side and spider gears were all in a bag with the cross pin, thrust washers, and cross pin retainer. The bag had partially opened; but I was lucky everything was till there - I can see how if the box gets damaged, parts can fall out. One of the spider gear thrust washers had a dent in it, which I had to smooth out. The thinnest of the thrust washers were bent/creased, and the carrier had several dings around the ring gear mating surface which had to be filed/smoothed down. I would add that it would have been nice if the manufacturer had spent the time to properly set up the right thrust washers for the gears provided, but it doesn't seem too difficult (just annoying).
