This set comes with all the 'extras' a beginner in figure skating needs.1. The 'Skate Guards' allow for trying on & 'breaking in' the skates in the house without slicing up the floors in the house, or latter slicing up the gym bag. They also work latter a means to protect the blades if walking on surfaces that might harm, or be harmed by, the blades at the ice skating arena.2. The 'towel' is needed to wipe off the ice from the steel blades before using the 'soakers'. (dry them off)3. The 'soakers' actually help keep condensation off the steel blades, and help protect the gym bag as you leave the ice skating arena. (keeps them dry so less rust on the blades, and less holes in your gym bag)I hope this helps other parents like myself whom had no idea what item was for/did.

All products are fine at this price. But, the skate guards do not stay, easily off when walking.

Super happy with this set of soakers, fit my size 9 women’s figure skates with 10-1/4” blade no problem. And looks great in this color, I get lots of compliments at the rink! 😍😍😍

I love the soakers and the towel . Hatred the blades gaurds as they did not fit ( I had a size 5 1/2 boot , lol found out I’m really a size 4 1/2 so hopefully my soakers will still fit ) they never stayed on no matter how I tried to adjust it .

I cannot get the state into the guard without a struggle. We have owned other brands & never had this problem. The medium soakers do not don't stretch to a women's 7 figure skate. Cheap from china = amazon

I thought this one looks good since it doesn’t need assembly. However, it takes me so much effort just trying to put it on to my daughter skates, I can’t imagine how skater can put it on without other people help especially while they stand up by the door of the rink….. it is impossible! Very inconvenient and design is not good at all! DON’T buy it! There are so many much better one than this non working staff.
