Units are slightly different than the original filters. I figured we would try these out. They have been working for several months now, no issues. Same pressure in the system. Will be pulling them out before winter to do a cleaning. We will see how they look then. As of now, pool is crystal clear.

I wasn't able to get my pool clear this year, I tried everything but would not clear. I purchased a used cartridge filter on Market Place and ordered the filters the same day. Shipping was fast, installed the cartridge filter and our pool is now crystal clear.

I compared these filters to another brand I have been using for years. There are some differences that you pay about $140 more for on my other filters, so the price is probably about right. The first thing I noticed was that there is no internal support inside the Cryspool filters like there is on the more expensive brand. Also, the holes on the plastic frame are smaller on the Cryspool. I would think this would cause reduced filtration when compared with the other brand due to more water flow through the larger holes.Structurally, these are not as sound as the more expensive brand and I suspect may not filter as efficiently. But, if they work and hold up a decent length of time, they may be worth the savings.I’m giving these 4 stars due to the lower cost. If they were more expensive, I would drop that to 3.

Why is it the manufacturer refuses to make the holes large enough to fit without modification? Also, once I got them installed and the pool started, I found them to be very restrictive. Will be ordering a different filter. Lesson learned.I have upgraded to 3 stars because of the communications with the manufacturer. They have been very eager to try and figure out what went wrong, and offered help. Very impressed with the customer service.

This is the 3rd set of filters I've purchased. The others somehow restricted the water flow which kept the pressure high in the filter. These didn't do that. All cartridge filters are a pain to clean which is why they didn't get 5 stars for easy to clean.

Replaced CCP520 filters, direct drop in replacement. Have only been installed 1 week, but no complaints we'll see how they hold up long term.
