The rubber is rather dense and made it difficult to install. Eventually got it tightened enough to hold 24psi

Even the largest size expanding plug is maybe only an inch or inch and a half in diameter. This won’t work for most modern expansion tanks. I was hoping this would make up for the adapters that I don’t have but it probably only works best with Asian cars with small radiator caps. It also has no way to hold the expansion plug while you screw down the adapter to expand it, making it fairly useless because you can’t get it to expand well in the filler neck without it just spinning. Lazy design.

After 4 months I was excited to finally try out this cooling system test adapter and boy am I disappointed. The biggest flaw is the design of the cup of the adapter that your tester connects to isn't made right so you can't actually connect the tester to the adapter. Too late to send back so I'm going to reengineer it and make it work right.

I bought this to replace my redline kit I have had for several years. I was a little hesitant due to the price difference but after several uses I am happy I went with this kit. No issues I would put this CTA kit right there with the redline kit. Happy I chose the CTA as a replacement.

Works good, be sure to wipe dry mating surfaces so it will grip before use. Used once on a dodge promaster Degas bottle did fine. Beats to tool truck price is why I got it on here. I don't get paid enough for tool truck prices glad Amazon had it!
