This cuts nice but overall the amount of left over grass mulch is more than I had hoped for. It was almost better without this and just using the open chute. But I have owned a couple of riding lawn mowers and I can sadly say this is one of the better ones in terms of left over mulch. Wasn’t horrible.

Product is very nice. Easy to install. Could have a tighter fit on the cover as mowed material try’s to escape around the edges. Cuts really nice and doesn’t leave a mess. On the tall grass I did a pass over some clumps of cut grass and it dispersed it well

The blades are for a 2023 and newer Cadet (s) patern not the older star style. Check your blade pattern before purchase. I was concerned about the plug fitting with gaps based on some reviews but was happy that it fits very tight on a 2024 Cadet LT46 XT1 no gaps. Be sure the tab fits inside the deck when installing(3rd pic). I chose to remove the deck chute and covered the holes with Heavy Duty 3M black tape.Very happy with the purchase. It was delivered 5 days earlier than estimated.

I like how it mulches good. But the plug part does not stay down to where the grass comes out from the top part and pushes the plug out at the bottom. It need to be secured better so it does not move. I drilled a few holes at the bottom of it and used two heavy duty hose clamps. Then used two self taping screws for the top. Works a lot better.

Blades were very easy to install once the deck was off the mower. The mulching cover was easy to install but make sure the small insert clip on the backside fits inside the export hole, if it does not there will be a gap! Mulches lawn and leaves great!
