This cube solves my need to fidget while I work on solving it. I love the rose gold color, light weight, and shifting shapes. Sometimes the rotation is a bit tight and the rows don't move independently, so I may try adjusting the tension. Overall, it's a fun puzzle!

This is an excellent mirror cube that has magnets and a ball core. It's very competition ready even though there isn't an official competition yet. It turns smooth and you can feel the magnet pull when turning fast. Unfortunately, the instructions are only in Japanese. It also comes with an all-in-one tool for taking apart and adjusting the cube which works great. The price for the mirror cube with a ball core and magnets is hard to justify. The ball core feels unnecessary and only adds complications if the cube is taken apart or accidentally pops a piece which is common for a medium to heavily used mirror cube. I would recommend the Ball Core M mirror cube only to those who are attempting to speed solve the mirror cube. Otherwise, I would recommend one of the cheaper mirror cubes.

I got this cube for my son, as he loves the original 3x3 Rubik's cube. He was able to mix it up a bit and then solve it, but after a very thorough mix up, he has yet to solve it. Without colors, it's definitely a challenge. Regardless, he's having fun playing with it. If you are looking for a puzzle that will challenge your brain, this could be a good option.

Note that I am not a full on speed cuber and it takes me a while to get these solved. I can't judge this from the perspective of someone who is doing speed runs.I think this is a fun variation on the traditional colored cube. The need to judge size instead of color adds an extra bit of challenge for most people, though I suspect it might actually be more accessible for others because you can feel the differences. It would make a great gift for someone who enjoys that kind of puzzle, or, I suspect, a speed cuber who wants a new challenge. The quality is good but it is made of plastic so don't expect a heavy tactile experience when using this. It isn't flimsy but the feel doesn't match the appearance. It arrived solved. I scrambled the cube and let my spouse try it. After a while it was given back unsolved and I decided to use it to kill some down-time between jobs. I finally got it solved except for the last corner that was oriented correctly, and I could not get that corner into position. Frustrated, I went on online cube solver and tried to get an answer...but the online cube solver reported it as unsolvable as well. I don't know if it somehow got twisted or someone just did a really good job of scrambling the cube, but after trying for longer than I'll admit I just grabbed the corner and twisted it into place. Why 4 stars instead of 5? I think it's expensive relative to how it feels. If it was made of aluminum it would be easily worth the full price and more. If it was more solid feeling plastic it might also be worth the full price. But as it was it looks like it's going to be heavy and it isn't.

This non-standard Rubik cube sure is unique, but itโs fun and interesting. I found it to be more challenging than I had first expected. Being that the shapes of one face are all different but only by a little made it a touch hard to place where it might need to go without having different colors. But I guess that is why one would choose this style over another is for the challenge. The price is I bit expensive in my opinion, having not handled the less expensive version I canโt speak to how each one differs, so I donโt know how the values compare. This cube moves very smoothly and quickly, thereโs very little resistance when rotating. Overall Iโd say this is a cool version and we were happy to try it out. Iโd see this a neat gift idea or for people who live a variety of Rubik cubes.
