The only reason why I had to buy another one is cause I lost my first one. The first pair I bought I treated like straight garbage. Left it outside, never rinsed off fishing in salt, cut through any bait including crabs, dropped it a million times, etc. Although it wasn't braid cutting sharp anymore, it was still pretty sharp. I used and abused mine just to see how much it could take and it did not let me down. This set, I will still use hard but will definitely be taking care of it. I am going to buy a sheathe for it cause the one it comes with is useless.
