This review is not so much about this product as it is the disappointment with the actual Cuisinart Food Processor. We had Kitchen Aid - solid performer, but the plastic bowl was tired. Avoid the Cuisinart Food Processor. We've used them for other things in the kitchen -- but this was totally cheap food processor.

This is the perfect size for chopping up or grinding a small amount of something. I had a 4 cup mini chopper but got rid of it when the plastic around the blade cracked and it didn’t seem safe to use. I was missing my mini chopper until I found this insert.

Years ago I had a Cuisinart that included a smaller bowl for smaller batches. This fits perfectly inside. I would have shown it in the picture but already have used. It was perfect for chopping some fresh Parmesan Reggiano in less than a minute 😃. Very pleased!

Not a useful add on ----- much fluff and stuff to the lower bowl so this set up is less than efficient. Did not like it so much (plus the blender totally failed) so I returned it. Thank you Amazon for your return policy and help.

It works great and so fast. I love it. But make sure you line up the notches to the bigger bowl or it won't lock to work.

The smaller bowl is excellent when chopping ingredients that require smaller amounts. It assembles easily and works well.

Does the job, works fine but strange when the machine is running all the lights flash, would have been nice if it did not do that, so far this is the only thing so far I have come to see as an issue.
