The piece was the precise replacement for my Cuisinart Prep 9 9 cup Food Processor. The original cracked when used by my tenant, and this restored the use of my favorite appliance.

Fit my 9 cup Cuisinart perfectly! I was a bit leery ordering as some people complained it didn't? But perhaps they had a different machine model. Luckily I bought mine from Amazon five years ago, so I could look up the model. I don't know why my original post cracked. Nothing I did. My first processor lasted 25 years and then it was the motor that went.
