This was purchased due to possible cracked rib. I am very short between my rib cage and my waist. This was way to flimsy! It is quite wide, but instead of holding my ribs secure, it was constantly rolling up. Spent so much time pulling it back in place that I stopped wearing after the first 24hrs.:(

I have been using waist support belts for a variety of reasons for over 40 years. This belt design is great for anyone with lower back pain while sitting in front of a computer for a long time. It is 42 inches long and 6 inches wide lying flat on a table, however it stretches to 50 inches long as well. So even if you have a 44 or 48 inch waist, you should be good to go. It’s a Nice Belt for the money.SORRY FOLKS, I am reducing my original five star rating to one star. After using the product for about three weeks the Velcro no longer sticks to the belt. In my opinion, it is not worth ten bucks. I purchased another belt from a local store for fifteen dollars that will last me for several years.

I rarely go out of my way to write scathing reviews for any item. I realize around 10 bucks this thing isn't going to be the best on the market to begin with - so boo on me for tryin to save a buck. This thing is terrible, however, and actually ended up causing me even MORE rib trauma.I am about 6', 175lbs, athletic build but Id say average sized. The belt technically fits around my ribs but placement is confusing as it randomly tapers and varies in size. I tried and tried and tried to make this thing work. I even used binder clips to hold it together - but the velcro is so poor quality that inevitavbly at some point if I breathed in even a bit quicker than normal the velcro instantly breaks its hold and you go from support to absolutely being in more pain from the shock.To be honest I'd rather wear nothing than this item because invariably it just ends up with me being in way more pain than when i started. Doubly upsetting having to deal with a broken rib and a simple strap so poorly executed that it can't even maintain hold to support itself to stay on.
