Bought these for my 9 year old granddaughter. She loves them. They are sturdy and an adult can use them as well.

This is an awesome kids baking set. The 38 pieces are just like adult baking tools except a bit smaller to accommodate smaller hands. The quality of the set is very impressive. These are not toys but are actual baking tools for kids. My 10 year old granddaughter loves to cook and bake and she was so thrilled to get a baking set all her own. I believe she and her brother have used most of the pieces making cookies, making and decorating cupcakes and helping Mom with other cakes and pies. This set made my granddaughter very happy..and me too!BPA free and dishwasher safe.

This looks just like adult sets I've seen in the stores. My niblings loved to use them and they are perfect sizing for small kids. There are enough items in this set to for kids to all feel like they get to do something. The tools are more than just the basics-cupcake molds, but include a frosting spreader, and multiple tools for different cupcake designs, with directions on use. The set is easy to clean and BPA free. The rolling pin has an interesting metal film on it (to keep dough from sticking?) The set is dishwasher safe which is a plus. The only downside I can think are that there are just six silicone cupcake holders. You can supplement with your own, with paper, or not use any. It's really not a big deal.I would highly recommend getting this for your budding chef!

This is an excellent starter set not just for the aspiriing young cook, but also for anyone moving out for the first time or anyone who just wants a set of basic baking tools. You get pretty much everything you need to make pretty much everything you want. I'm especially pleased to have the frosting syringe thing, because making icing bags out of wax paper is a pain and a half. The one complaint that I about these, and it isn't insignificant, is that on the measuring cups and spoons, the measurement is merely printed on; it isn't molded into the plastic. This is a problem, because when I've had equipment like this in the past, the markings have rubbed off after only a few uses. Now it can still be pretty obvious what measurement is what, even without those markings, but still.Otherwise, this is a very good set!

This box arrived in the mail and my four year old's eyes immediately went saucer-wide. ("Is that for me?!?!" + excited hopping up and down). The set is much larger than I was expecting -- mostly in a good way. The tools are sized for kids, but while I was envisioning toddler size, it's really rather larger than that; I think this set will last our kids through late elementary or middle school... certainly until they're old/big enough to use adult kitchen tools. While the tools are made of plastic, they don't have a cheap feel, and so far have had zero issues in terms of quality. The icing cannister also comes with multiple tips, which is a nice touch. There are so many tools that it's hard to store them all together in a kitchen drawer; I'm planning to buy a medium sized plastic bin to keep them all in. I also love that it's a nice green color; the fact that so many kid's baking sets are bright pink drives me bananas (1. Boy like to cook/bake too and 2. I want to reuse this for both my daughter and my son). All told, both I and my four year old are very happy with this set! It's certainly not super inexpensive compared to other children's cooking sets out there, but I think we'll be using this for many years to come.

I’m always interested in decent children’s bakeware as I have small hands and low strength in my fingers. This is a laudable set of fully functional tools for baking. This is not a toy at all. There is pretty much every tool you’d need to turn out cookies or other baked items.I checked the measuring spoons and cups against my husband’s chef set and they were quite accurate. Lots of helpful specialty tools to assist in getting your baking done right. Add in an apron, pot holder, oven and bowl; you have all you’ll need for a fun baking day. Includes cookie cutters, silicone cupcake liners, pastry cutter, whisk, rolling pin ( not too heavy), pastry brush, cutter, icing gun and more. The icing gun comes with a variety of tips. You may want to invest in a storage container to keep these all together....the box is really just to get this set to you intact. Made in China for a Wisconsin company.
