Installed the hitch bracket to the chassis (including cutting of the heat shield around muffler) then reattached exhaust to hangers. Went for a ride and noticed the muffler is constantly banging against the new bracket. Just ordered some longer hangers - hoping that does the trick.Install went ok. Getting those bolts routed through the chassis takes some real patience! I dont think I have dropped as many f bombs as I did yesterday just with working that fish wire. Heads up to just thread that wire no more than 3 threads high. Any higher your going to get the wire stuck and it wont spin off. Recommend you get someone to help you hold the bracket in place while you screw the nuts on. I did it alone but it was a lot of trouble!

Works very good. I did lower the exhaust by swapping the 2 exhaust hangers furthest to the rear of my 15 Fiesta ST and the exhaust will hit the tow hitch occasionally but not on a daily basis (it is my daily driver). I can now tow my motorcycle on my metal 4 x 6 trailer with no issues. Least expensive one I found online as well. Cant beat it.

After receiving the Curt the weight made me think twice about installing it myself. After unsuccessful attempts tohire a shop to do the install, I decided what the heck, I'll try it myself. It went without a hitch(pun intended) and since everything needed was included the install went quite well. It took about an hour even though the instructions said 30 minutes for an experienced mechanic(which I'm not). It's well made and sturdy even though all I intend to haul arebicycles. I am well pleased with the hitch and the price.

Fits a 2016 Fiesta ST perfectly. With an MBRP catback there is no need to trim the heat shield, nor does it contact the exhaust. Works well with a bike carrier.

Solid product for a decent price. Installation might be tricky for the mechanically un-inclined, so definitely get a friend to help and watch some videos on hitch installations.

-Purchased and delivered with no issues. Installed on a 2012 Ford Fiesta SE 4 door hatchback.-After installation, I inserted the included ball mount into the receiver, and immediately regretted my choice to purchase the added attachment. The poor craftsmanship of the ball mount thoroughly surprised me seeing how this is a Curt product. It was bent crooked in manufacturing, and it was welded without being squared up. As a result, the left side of the ball mount is much lower than the right side. Just to be clear, the hitch is fine, its just the badly made ball mount insert that is junk. I'll have to buy a different ball mount for it.-During installation, I ran into a bit of an issue with the heat shield on my car - instructions recommend trimming the shield, but I read in other similar product reviews that it was not necessary to do. The instructions were unclear, at least to me, regarding exactly where to trim the shield, so I took other reviewers advice and just left it alone. It worked out fine.-Installing the bolts into the frame was a bit of a chore, I attached the included spring backwards at one point and put the bolt into the wrong hole, I admit user error here, just pointing it out for others to be attentive when feeding the bolts.-There was no need to trim the bumper or make any adjustments to my car for this to fit.
