While the hitch was perfect, tightening the bolts on the passenger side to the recommended 86 ft lbs of torque was a bear. It's a tight working area where a standard torque wrench does not fit. You have to get it as best you can with a standard wrench.

I bought this for my Toyota RAV4 2022. Fit perfectly and helped my 17 year old nephew put it on my car. The one side is a tighter squeeze, but my nephew was able to do it with his big ole bear paws. Took about 45 for the install. We put a few wood planks under the rear tires on both sides to give us room underneath to work.

Easy install, definitely easier if you have a helper. Saved a lot of money, at a dealer it would of cost $1300 with install. Very strong and sturdy. Would definitely buy again

I watched an install video, and read comments before tackling this one. Really nice how the Toyota RAV4 has threaded holes ready for mounting this, much simpler than the three Subaru vehicles I have previously installed hitches onto.I found the four threaded holes, peeled away the black circles to reveal them, and then practice threaded the four bolts just to get a feel for things -- really happy that I did this step, as it saved worry/fuss later when trying to bolt the hitch receiver in place. No helper available, so I used my floor jack to lift and support the hitch during the process -- VERY EASY, surprisingly so! No straining to hold it while trying to thread bolts.. just let the jack do all of the heavy lifting for me.Was able to use a torque wrench on the left-hand side bolts, but not on the right-hand side. So there I just added a cheater extension to a long crescent wrench and tried to approximate the same force used on the similar-length torque wrench. This beast ain't going anywhere!Good hitch receiver. The 2-inch version would be even better, but somewhat heavier.

Installed on 2020RAV4 Hybrid. This hitch was pretty easy to install, a one man job that needed only a crescent wrench and ratchet. It requires no cutting or modification to the RAV4. It could be removed with no issue. I can’t speak to longevity as my car was totaled about 2 weeks after installing it.The installation was simple, all you have to do is lift the hitch up and put 4 bolts in to hold it. The bolts on the passenger side were difficult to line up and install as the space is just tight enough to get the bolt in place. The driver side bolts were a breeze! My couple points I found to help with installation:1) if you can get about 3 inches extra space under the back, you don’t beee to jack up the vehicle. The lip on the concrete of my garage was all the extra space to make this easy to tilt and lift. Back the vehicle up so the tires are at the top of the lift, and install from the driveway.2) if you have a small car jack, you can use that to help hold one side up while you put the bolts into the opposite side. Once you have one bolt in, you can then remove the jack.Over all, would buy this brand again.
