Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 4,000 lbs. GTW and 600 lbs. TW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.

The hitch install is definitely a two person job just because of the heavy weight. It aligned perfectly, but one should watch a few install videos as the muffler has to be dropped for a bolts on the passenger side. Easily done though and the Curt looks to be a good build with quality paint for rust resistance and should hold up well.

Hitch fits perfectly on a 2025 Sorento EX X Line. Very happy with product. I was able to install in less than 30 minutes. Slight gap when initially fitted but closes up perfectly once all bots are tightened.

Great instructions included in the box. Solid construction. This thing is solid steel. It does require some effort to remove 2 rubber exhaust hangers. Once these rubber things are removed, the muffler hangs down a couple inches and allows for installation and tightening the bolts. I highly recommend the product.

Easy to install on 2025 Santa Fe hybrid. Hardest part was the muffler brackets so I bought a $13 wrench on Amazon and made it quite easy. It was doable with out jacking the car up but a little more clearance would have nice. Nice product and good price.

Why did I used to pay for a hitch that someone else installed? This hitch was easy. Including cleanup and breaking down the boxes, it took about an hour. Great hitch, excellent instructions.

The tow hitch fits nice. It looks like a factory hitch. Kia wanted $650 to install one. This is high quality. The hardest part was pulling the muffler brackets out of the rubber hangers. Spraying some soapy water on them helped. Using channel locks let me push the bracket through the rubber hanger. I used a strap between the springs to go under the exhaust pipe to hold it up while working on the trailer hitch. All the bolts fit perfectly and the holes lined up. It took about 35-40 minutes total. Have an extra person to help hold it in place while you are bolting it up. It would be tough by yourself.The hitch does not rub on the bumper as some have mentioned. Top of the hitch is about 1/2" below the bumper. Nice and concealed. Looks very professional.

Tow hitch shipped and arrived quickly. Installation was simple and fit was perfect. Videos online were helpful for installation process. I installed it by myself in less than an hour. I like how concealed and out of the way the tow hitch is.

This is a nice solid hitch, and installs in the factory bolt holes of my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. It does require dropping the muffler, which is a nuisance, but not difficult (use soap for lubrication on rubber mounts). And the passenger side bolts go behind the muffler, so you'll need ratchet extensions. It's also awkward with a decent length torque wrench. Install wound up taking me about 90 minutes total. If your vehicle has a spare tire it will take a few minutes longer.Four stars because the first one Amazon sent was shipped without any box and was so beat up in transit that it had started to rust. I contacted Curt, but they deferred entirely to Amazon. Amazon processed a return, but the UPS store wouldn't take it back without a box.....The replacement I ordered was drop shipped directly from Curt, so I didn't know why they told me they weren't involved, but the moral is that you might or might not get one in new condition.

Drop the spare tire, unhook the muffler that's about it, so easy to install took me 30m fit perfectly and comes with hardware.Clean flush install

I ordered this on a friday and it arrived monday.it was as described and fit as it should.took me around an hour.biggest part is clean up the bolt holes and run a bolt through to make sure the bolt goes in smoothly you dont want to try and hold this thing up if you cant put the bolt in .a second pair of hands would be great.it looks great feels like quality.
