This product was supposed to fit my 2008 Subaru outback when I proceeded to try and install the product it seems that it would not fit on my frame.When I contacted them to try and return it, I am being told. I cannot return it.I am hoping that after they read this review, they will contact me and let me return their product.

Installation is a breeze, took about 20 minutes. Has all the hardware including the shims. You’ll need a m10x1.25 tap to clean the threads on frame rails. And use anti seize on the bolts. On my 2009 Subaru outback I needed one shim on the back bolt holes (the holes closer the front of the car) to level the hitch. The trailer light wire kit was easy. Plugs right into the pigtail in the truck of the car. And is supplied with a fuse. Only bad I would have to say is make sure hitch is longer otherwise it’ll hit the rear bumber. I would definitely buy again.

Installed on my mom’s 2005 LLBean Outback. Probably one of the easiest hitch installs I’ve ever done. Had to drop the end of the exhaust down by removing the muffler support bushing as I got big hands but possible a little hand person might be able to get their hand up there. The most annoying part was trying to get the quarter panel plastic pulled back to access the wire plug in the trunk as the trim clips were a pain in the heeha and it was 40* outside and didn’t want to break or crack the cold brittle plastic. Plug and play wiring was nice.
