These pajamas have exceeded my expectations for children's pajamas. I ordered a size 8 for my 7 year old and they fit great (he is on the small side for 7). He loves them! He is a little picky when it comes to clothes, but these are so soft and cozy. I have washed them so many times (because he wants to wear them every night) and they have held up nicely. He really likes the hood for cold nights and they even have pockets. You can't tell in the picture, but the fabric is a velour type fabric. They aren't super warm, but warm enough for our needs. I would recommend these and I might by them for my other kids.
