I bought the Eternal Bookstore book nook for myself. Although I have made book nooks from other brands, CUTEBEE is my favorite and worth the money because of its quality. The directions are easy to read and understand, the pieces are incredibly sturdy, connecting the lighting is straightforward, and I didn't have to worry about anything breaking. The lights take AAA batteries, and I recommend buying a nice glue (like Aileene's).This book nook is an excellent addition to any collection you may have already started or for first-timers interested in building their own book nook.

I am a huge HP nerd and Gryffindor is my house so this was a great booknook! It’s simple to make, majority of it snaps together with only a bit needing glue. My only issue with this set is that the lights are terrible. You can’t see them at all. In a pitch black room you can barely see the fireplace light. Can’t even see the other 2. That is how dull the lights are. And yes my batteries are not old or duds. I tested them. I’ll include a picture but the camera even makes the light look bright than it is in person

So happy with this mini build! I’ve done many of these kits, and this is possibly one of the cutest ones! It was pretty simple to put together and is exactly as described! I’ll be adding alot of personal touches and adjustments (adding fabric to the chairs, blood on the concrete instead of the wooden pieces etc) to make it look more realistic, so I didn’t end up using all the little pieces.I thought it was going to be wood, but it’s not. It’s more like a thick, hard paper that’s been laser cut?

This magic-inspired DIY book nook exceeded all my expectations! The level of detail in the design is absolutely enchanting, from the tiny streetlamps to the intricate book spines. It feels like stepping into a miniature fantasy world. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the assembly process both enjoyable and satisfying. It’s a bit time-consuming, but that’s part of the fun—it felt like I was crafting a piece of art! The quality of the materials is impressive, and once completed, the nook is surprisingly sturdy. It fits perfectly on my bookshelf and adds a whimsical touch to my book collection. The light-up feature is the cherry on top, creating a cozy, magical glow in the evenings. Whether you’re a fantasy lover or just enjoy creative projects, this book nook is a must-have. I’m already eyeing other designs to add to my collection!

This kit is well made, well detailed, fun to build and looks really good on shelving. The longest part is to assemble the books but is part of the fun. Personal tip; for that part use glue stick. For the rest, thick glue. I used Aleene's gel clear tacky glue. A small 4oz is plenty enough. You will have some left for other projects. Finally, using an exacto to cut wood pieces before pushing out of wood sheet does a better job. I recommend if you like modeling and precision projects you do over time.

I was honestly surprised by the good quality of this product. Reading some people’s negatives review I was first skeptical but got completely positively surprised when opening the box. This is for people who have patience and enjoy attention to detail and a beautiful end product. The main pieces are all made out of real wood (I honestly thought it is plastic, it’s hard to tell from the pictures). Extremely detailed and ornate elements. Work with some tools like small screwdrivers and tweezers to separate them. It’s easier than it might first appear. There is a small screwdriver and even a small file included. The LED light pack is good quality and easy accessible through a door on the back. Also easy to assemble…All over the manual is easy to understand. Follow some simple steps and pay attention to all the details and u will have a great end product.I saw some negative reviews here, probably from people who don’t have the patience and blame their non succeeding on the manufacturer. People…You have to look at pictures in the manual and copy what they show you!! Dahhh it is really not that hard…There is videos on YouTube which explain everything in detail, there is tips and alternate ways to put it together. Find it all online; no reasons to blame others …Also the way the finished product looks is amazing. It’s so much better then I honestly expected for the low price. It’s Absolutely worth the price and a super fun and relaxing thing to do for a rainy/wintery afternoon.Don’t skip steps, there is a reason why they do it in that order. The only thing what I would personally change is to NOT put the lantern (literally the first step in the manual) on the wall in the beginning. Wait nearly till the end to glue it to the wall, I broke mine of multiple times (lol) while assembling other elements, BUT it was a super easy fix and nobody will ever know!!Again, super fun, Absolutely worth the money, very meditative and relaxing and a way better quality than I expected …

I got this for a gift for a friend who is a retired librarian and it was perfect. It comes in a nice box and they give you everything that you should need except for the glue. Of which I would recommend Loctite super glue liquid. Setup is quick and clean. Oh, and you will need 2 AAA batteries for the LED light as well. HEADS UP: Be sure to take great care when removing some pieces that have thin parts. Example being the flowers and plants. This being made of balsa wood it is easy to break. The wood was a alittle warped here and there but that ended up not being an issue. And all the peices are printed/ labeled and lasercut. Just "pop" out the piece needed and glue/ fit in place. And in some cases peices have an outline showing you were to place things. The "customizing" is near the end when placing the books/papers.Of which, the books and papers. They are printed out on sheets of nice paper stock. You will have to cut out the pages and fold them into an accordion to make the "book pages". Then cut out the bookcovers and apply onto those pages and onto blocks of wood to illustrate closed books. And the effect works pretty well. But, there are a LOOOOOT of books to make here. Just over 100!!!! Which, of course, makes sense it being a "bookstore". I would highly recommend doing the books at the start to go ahead and get the tedium over with so you can focus on the fun parts. The directions are pretty clear and printed in color using photos. It is a little puzzlelike but I was able to figure things out just fine.It is unfortunate that one of the LED lights shine through the wood on the back when it is on. Perhaps placing a small piece of electrical tape next to the light might have helped hide that. But I didn't notice that until it was too late.Overall: I really enjoyed working on this project and the end results are nice. Would make for a great gift as well.
