Your cart is empty.Replaces the GFCB220 with new Self Test functionality. UL performed a study that found there were devices in the field that had gone "brain dead" and could no longer protect against electrical shock and leakage current, but were still functional. As a result of the study, UL required that all new GFCI devices perform a routine self-test of their capability to detect and prevent ground faults. The device must disable itself if the self-test is failed. The self-test software runs in the background-it will be invisible to the user when the self-test program is running. All Eaton devices will maintain their TEST buttons to manually test the device. Pressing a breaker's TEST button will yield the expected result: the breaker will trip if it is functioning properly. GFCIs are required in any application near water such as kitchen countertops, bathrooms, swimming pools, hot tubs, and outdoor receptacles. They immediately break the circuit when electrical current leakage is being detected, reducing the risk of shock and electrocution.

Product arrived loose, not in the manufacturer packaging. No instruction or spec sheet. Found the material online after hunting around, but didn’t get around to my project until after the return period had lapsed. Unit does not work. Replaced with a known good unit that now works fine. Did more extended research and this specific breaker is notoriously bad - do your research.

If you have never installed one of these watch out for the dual power option. It can be used for either 120 volt or 240 volt. There are 2 terminal on one side. The outside one is 120 volt. The other beside it is just a dead nuetral, no power. For 240 connection use the 2 outside terminals, 2 times 120 volt is 240 volts. For 120 volts connect the single outside terminal and the inside terminal of the paired terminals. Note that the nuetral teminal on this breaker has a white dot.

I had two of these in my panel and both failed at the same time, big change in the weather who knows why they failed together? The local stores didn't seem to have stocks, even if it was an item they carried. Delivery was posted at 4-5 days, To my surprise they turned up the next day.These were labeled EATON and the price was competitive.Amazing and many counts!thank you.

I took a chance and I ordered an Eaton Gftcb220 20 Amp 2 Pole Gfci breaker in Apr 2021. It took a few weeks to schedule the electrician to install. Electrician noted that the breaker was used as indicated by the zap marks. Product was sold as "new". When I went back to Amazon to get a refund, I was told it was past the 30 day window. The breaker is defective. It trips about every few weeks even without a load.I spent over $200 expecting a new breaker, but instead ended up with someone else's junk. I now have to spend more money on a new breaker.
