I bought this for a high end fully automatic bb gun so I wasn't trying to spend a fortune on one , I researched them for a few days and this is what I decided was the biggest bang for my buck and I wasn't disappointed, it came with all the proper mounting hardware and was super easy to install. Everything functioned properly and I was also able to attach a strap to it . The legs swing out and at the push of a button , extend out automatically (spring loaded) very inexpensive but every bit as good as the high dollar ones , I put mine thru hell , the gun is long gone but this bipod is still in my shop drawer , awaiting my next gun purchase. So it's very durable and can take a beating . Highly recommend this item

I’ve been shooting for well over twenty years as a civilian, in the US Marines, and as a police officer. I’ve pretty much always used Harris bipods but I decided to do a budget rimfire build and figured I’d give this thing a shot. It didn’t disappoint. I was skeptical but I read the reviews and figured, “Why not? It’s only $20.” I got it and immediately mounted it to the rifle (direct mounted to the rifle’s sling swivel stud) and was amazed at how solid it felt for best I paid. I deployed the legs and then raised them and was pleased to find that there was just the right amount of resistance and they popped back up with ease too. I then set it down and noticed really the only problem. The rifle was canted to the right. A little pressure and a twist to the left though bent it into place perfectly though (this is why I gave it four stars on “Easy to install” and overall). The only other issue I have with it is one that I can’t knock the product for since to me this is more of a preference issue than it is an issue with the product itself and that’s the way the legs extend. I’m used to legs that are return to the collapsed position by pressing a button but these are the opposite. These are spring loaded. A quick push and release of the button will extend the the leg to its fully locked out position. If you push and hold the button it will extend the leg and it will recoil at the limit of its travel and then you can lock it into whichever notch you prefer. Again, this is a matter of preference for me and merely informational for those of you reading this. I prefer a low shooting position and this is going on a rifle that will never see more than a 10 round magazine so it will probably be rare that I even extend the legs. If you’re shooting it on a center fire with a large capacity magazine then you may actually prefer the method that this particular bipod employs. Overall, if you’re on a budget and want a good bipod I don’t thing you’ll be disappointed with this product.Side note: I did not use the QD stud that comes with this bipod so I can’t comment on its reliability, stability, or long term ruggedness but out of the box it feels pretty solid.

bipod is of good quality. i've only used the bipod at the range once on my AR so far but it had functioned as it should. i had no issues with the bipod getting loose or needing to tighten the screw(s). of course, i used some blue locktite on the tension screw so this probably prevented the bipod from getting loose. i do like the that the bipod came with a quick release mount which helped in getting the bipod off easily when i was doing some stand-up plinking. at 50 & 100 yards, this bipod helped to steady my shots to get very tight on-target groupings. i was very happy and surprised with the results considering that this is an inferior bipod vs a harris as such. of course time will only tell how long this bipod will last but i'm sure i will get the most bang for buck out of this $17 bipod before i will need to replace it. now i wouldn't say it's a battle ready bipod at all but overall i would recommend this bipod to anyone who doesn't want to spend an exorbitant amount for a bipod.

This is a really cool piece. I kinda bought it as a toy but i'm surprised at the quality for the price. It's a bit heavy but the quick release means I don't have to have tools to remove it before running off. All the parts showed up nice and oiled so it's properly stored and it comes with any tool you'll need. No directions but very easy to understand and mount. It is heavy I may add but, again the quick release makes short work of resolving that issue. It is very sturdy. It does not swivel in case anyone was wondering. It fits tight, doesn't rattle. I'm actually quite surprised. An awesome budget piece to have for the range. It makes sighting in rifles so much easier having one of these around. If I have issues as it's used i'll update but right now I definitely can't complain.

I was a little hesitant to buy such a cheap bipod, but it has a ton a high reviews, so for $16 (at the time I purchased it) I figured I couldn't lose. I waited to write this review until I had a chance to test this bipod at the range. I have tested it on 2 of my 5.56 AR 15s, and this week I tested it on my .270 deer rifle. This thing has not had one single issue on any of my rifles, even with me switching it back and forth many times, with and without the quick disconnect (I had to take the QD off to mount the bipod to my deer rifle). My original intention was to use this one bipod and switch it back and forth between my ARs as needed, but for $16 I think I will just order me another one. I can't say enough good things about this bipod, and I am definitely open to buying other CV Life gun accessories because of my experience. The only thing I will say is to make sure you order the right height for your bipod. I got the shortest one (6-9") and it is almost too tall at the lowest setting for the setup at my range (with my ARs, not with the deer rifle... prolly the height of the 30 round mags I use). Not the bipod's fault, just something you need to figure out when you order. So in short, I have had this bipod at the range on 3 different guns, probably 4 or 5 different trips out to the range, with zero issues, zero malfunctions and zero complaints. The more I use it , the more I like it and appreciate it.
