"Large choice of mounting options" apparently means that not all mounting hardware is included. You will need to spend additional money to buy the mounts for these. Seller should state in their product description that complete mounting hardware is not included.

A Ridgid material will always fail with this type of use. One month, a couple of falls, that's it. It broke and is far beyond repair so I will have to buy another pair or handguards. Pieces subject to stress should be able to bend and recover their original shape, maybe a strong rubber, I don't know. Check the picture, now it doesn't tighten and this handguard freely moves up and down. Hey designers where you are?

My husband purchased these, no where in the description does it specify whether they are for a four wheeler or a dirt bike. So buyer beware, they are for a FOUR WHEELER. Will be returning these..

Installation was a bit easier than typical wrap around hand guards. Keep in mind that bar clamps are not included for attaching to the "center" of the bars (end clamps are included). I use triple tree clamps on my CRF250X and they work pretty well.I used these for a season and had quite a few crashes. It is nice to not have to bend them back into place. In fact, I haven't had to mess with them one bit all season. Some crashes will cause them to rotate up or down so you have to rotate them back into place but I've had to do that will every wrap around I've ever had.So far they have offered plenty of protection to my hands. I haven't broken any levers but I did bend the brake lever. It wasn't bad enough to replace so I left it. Another crash bent it some more.The end of the wrap around where it attaches to the bar end is a pretty large diameter. I'd prefer if it was smaller but I'm sure they sized it the way they did for strength.Just to be clear, there is no aluminum bar within this handguard...it is all plastic construction.
