You never know when that shaft is going to break in the barrel. This is a great tool to have to remove it quickly. I will add a note that it does not work with brass barrels due to their larger diameter.

Le concept est bon: un outil pour enlever les tiges de "flights" cassées. Je possède deux sortes de tiges en métal et plastiques. Celles de plastique brisent à la jonction, je n'ai pas réussi à soutirer ces morceux cassés. Le concepte de cet outil: des 'aiguilles" accrochent au morceau cassé et on a qu'à dévisser. Ça marche pas. pas assez solides les "aiguilles" et se plient. Faut trouver autre plan B.

Was skeptical that this would actually work but it certainly surprised me! Worked perfectly. Had a tip break off leaving the threads of the tip in the shaft, this tool removed it quickly and easily.
