Replaced my piston and cylinder on my 029 super. Old one has scored and the rings were gone. Dropped this kit in and it bolted right in perfectly. Runs great. I'm very happy with this kit. Especially for being 1/10th of the stihl prices

Waste of my time....Base mounting holes are machined to the wrong metric size and thread pitch. original uses self tapping bolts of a different sizeI cannot spend the time finding other hardware to make this work on my saw.Looks like the overall quality is there.

Quick Shipping! My saw runs better than when it was new. My compression release dropped down onto the piston and ruined it. This jug does not come with the hole for a compression release. I was so happy about that. Perfect fit for an MS 390 Stihl.

Seems we’ll build and machined.Does not fit a 291 Incase your thinking it. Its 1mm smaller and the mounting points and housing are different4 stars because the piston retaining clips were missing from my kit. Just a inconvenience

The price was right, and everything fit well. After watching a informative YouTube video on a Sthil MS 290 top end rebuild, my chainsaw started right up and everything was great!Definitely recommended.
