The title are the most important features I look for in a stand or mount, and this one has it all, plus some. The main pivot for cymbal angle is toothed to ensure against drooping or movement. It also features a quick adjustment lever, still a spin, but not just a wingnut. The main boom arm is knurled almost the whole way, ensuring against slippage or twisting, also on a toothed key for precise adjustments. These two pivots allow full range of motion to capture the smallest nuanced difference in placement preference. Finally, the main stand clamp is good...not top quality, but should hold up well under pressure. The finish on it is not the greatest and I wish it was also knurled on the inside to aid in a bit more grip, but so far so good. We will see how it withstands some good beatings and vibration, but I feel confident it will do well.

This cymbal arm is nicely made and seems pretty heavy duty. It doesn't come with instructions or anything but it's pretty self explanatory as far as assembly. It's very adjustable and fits nicely. The adjustment handle is plastic but I actually really like that. It definitely does its job and is a nice and sturdy addition to my setup!

Essentially, it's a copy of the DW9000 series boom stand, with some differences. The cymbal angle adjustment is ratcheted, and the quality of the bushings isn't up to DW standard, but that's to be expected at such a price point. The stand itself is heavyweight, and I have had no issues using the two I bought. I wouldn't expect these to hold up to as much gigging abuse as the DW stand either. There are a a couple of strange features at the top of the stand - adjustments with drum-key bolts (see attached pics) and I took a point off because when tightening two of these locking bolts, the heads stripped. This isn't an issue with my drum key.Overall, if you're not a gigging drummer and you're going to set these up and forget them, I recommend them.

I needed another cymbal holder clampy thingy to add a splash near my hi-hats. This one popped up on my feed, so I took a chance. I'm a semi-professional drummer who plays somewhere on the upper end of 40 hours a month, so I need dependable gear that doesn't fall apart or flop around on the job.Pros: The 12mm rods that form the boom arm and the cymbal holder bit that comes out of the tilter feel very solid, not light or weak. the knurling is very well done. The tilter is adjusted using a large unlockable handle similar to a DW cymbal tilter. The tilter assembly itself can be repositioned anywhere on the boom, or if you prefer, you can remove it from this boom and attach it to the back end of another cymbal boom or even an L-rod on your tom holder. This makes for an incredibly versatile piece of gear.Cons: I was expecting the clamp tilter to be geared (having teeth), but I had thought that the cymbal tilter would be gearless/toothless, which it wasn't unfortunately. I still had no issues putting the cymbal at the correct angle. The clamp portion of this mount, as well as the various drumkey bolts, wingnuts, and main clamp bolts all feel very lightweight and cheap. It does the job of holding a splash without having to overtighten anything, but I'm not sure I would trust this for a heavier crash cymbal, and certainly not for a ride or a china which I would be bashing all the time.EDIT: I ended up replacing the wingnuts on the angle adjustment and clamp with Gibraltar 8mm wingnuts which have so far done a better job of staying secure than the originals. My next upgrade to this will be the drumkey bolts, as I have experienced them loosening up during gigs, causing the tilter to lose positioning.Bottom line: Probably just fine for this sort of lightweight application; it would probably fine for gentle players who do most of their playing at home if you're looking to mount a crash on it. If I have any durability issues I'll update this review. If they could just beef up the bolts and the clamp portion of this holder, it'd be an easy 5 stars at this price.

TENTOTEN Cymbal Arm Cymbal Boom Holder with Clamp, Cymbal Boom Arm with Ratchet Handle & Movable Top, 360°Cymbal Extension Mount Clamp for Splash, Crash and Effects CymbalsI write songs, sing and play guitar. I have been playing around with adding percussion tracks to my music. Nothing fancy, just some fill to give it some more interest. Anyway, I had picked up this little practice cymbal and did not have anything to hang it on until I came across this. It is perfect for my home studio setup. I can clamp it to any stand and have it in reach as I practice or record. The entire unit is beefy and should hold up to quite a bit of vigorous playing. I like that I can clamp in on just about any stand since I do not have a proper drum kit. I could see hanging other things off of it too. It is very adjustable to get the angle you need for your setup.

Great product for adding an additional cymbal to a stand. One stand, two cymbals.Without taking up more floor space, and trying to figure out how to get all those three-legged beasts to fit together, this allows you to add another cymbal.Depending on the stand you are using, I wouldn't use it to hold a ride, simply due to the weight and the possibility of tipping the stand. The mount works well, holding fast to the stand. Between the vertical adjustment on the stand, the curve of the boom, and the pivot on the end, it is easy to get that "side piece" in the position you want it. This works perfect for smaller cymbals, or other percussion items, like tambourines, or cowbells.... MORE COWBELL!!

This could be about $20 cheaper in price. You can actually get full stands for this price which is like four times the amount of metal. 3 stars for over priced ok gear. This will hold a cymbal extension.
