Left these from my original set on a guitar I sold, bought these and they've been perfect. Remember to take them off if you sell your guitar (and replace with stock ones).

First, these end pins are great. Sturdy and well made and more importantly, they fit perfectly with the D'Addario Strap Locks as well. So if you're like me and have several guitars but only a couple of straps, you can retro fit your other axes with these and they'll all be compatible. I have them on all of my guitars and have never had a problem.BUT! of the four that I have in Black color, only two were really black. One wasn't too bad but this latest one was a weird almost aged bronze color. Hard to see in the photos as it didn't really come through great, but you can see how different they are from the rest of the black hardware. Is it the end of the world? Of course not, but on a white guitar with all black hardware it kinds takes away from the aesthetic... Good quality spray paint works though ;)

These are great strap buttons. I have these on all of my guitars so I can either use the D’Addario auto lock straps or their universal strap locks. They are also great as a standard strap button. Great quality at a fair price.

Works with D’Addario Universal Strap Lock System. I use one guitar strap fitted with a D’Addario Universal Strap Lock System and for it to work with many guitars I had to change to these End Pins since the system only came with one pair of end pins.

Works perfectly with D'Addario's strap locks, just make sure you use the supplied screws, or similarly flat screws.

Volevo mettere la tracolla alla mia chitarra classica e attraverso questi due bottoni ci sono riuscito. Mi è bastato fare due piccoli fori e vi posso garantire che sono molto solidi, ormai utilizzo la mia chitarra classica con la tracolla quando vado a fare la scampagnate con gli amici. Mai avuto problemi, prodotto sicuramente valido per ciò che è stato adibito a fare. Consiglio!

En la descripción pone Correa para guitarra; en la foto sale una correa para guitarra; pero llegan unos "pin hole" para sujetar la correa...con un albarán donde sigue poniendo correa . Viendo el anuncio ahoa, veo descrito en inglés al final el producto que ha llegado...¿Descuido?¿Engaño? El caso es que ahora toca devolver y no hay correa

Nothing not to like about these. I will preface to say that I bought these to add a strap to my toddlers 1/2 size guitar. For the price they are perfect. I don't know that I would drill holes into my Martin myself anyway, but I think these would probably be just fine if I did. Hope that helps.

These pins are good looking, strong, very functional and offering a good value. Planet waves has done a good design job, as usual. I used these buttons to successfully modify a Yamaha C-40 classical guitar so it can be strapped. It required an additional, carefully polished and painted, hard wooden block which I glued with gorilla glue to the body end side so there's enough wood for the wood-screw to hold on to. The neck side has enough solid wood to attach the pin so only the body end was a challenge. All in all, a great product and mission accomplished.

I've been playing guitars for abou 40 years and never had to tie theend of the strap to the head of the guitar. But, my most recent guitar purchase did not have the strap button on it. The end pin eliminated that requirement and thus enables me to fasten my strap to the "body" which keeps the guitar from sliding down as I play. Would highly recommend it anyone.
