This company is highly regarded in the firearms industry and is veteran owned. Materials in construction appear quite good and the action of parts movement is tight and solid. These are of quality above the price point. I will order a second set for another patrol rifle.

These are good sights. They are easy to install. They are easy to adjust, and hold zero well. They have a reasonably low profile and look nice on a gun. Being metal, they are more durable than plastic sights.

I've purchased a lot of sights over the years. This includes everything from expensive Magpul sights both polymer and steel, to even less expensive Ozark Armament sights. I can tell you that these DAGGER DEFENSE sights are the best bang for the buck. They are robust and NOT cheaply made. As soon as you hold them in your hand you realize that someone put a lot of good quality and control into the production. They hold zero very well. I often do a simple drop test with any new brand that I buy and these passed with flying colors. Dagger Defense will now be my new go-to backup sights from now on. I do recommend that you oil the moving parts. It is not necessary but I do that with any sights that I buy to include Magpul. it always increases the smoothness of operation. Just an old soldier's advice. In addition, I will be buying these again for my upcoming builds for sure. In fact I will likely just go ahead and order several sets now. This is honestly the first time I have ever been enthusiastic about leaving a product review.

This product is every bit as good as the Magpul MBUS. They seem more rugged and solid than the plastic Magpul sights, though also heavier. Also, for a much more reasonable price.I particularly like the rear sight, which comes with both a ghost ring and peep sight options, and can be switched as quickly as the sights flip up. This let's you switch from a large rear sight for better visiblity and quicker target acquisition (ghost ring), to a smaller rear sight for more precise long range aiming (peep sight). After receiving the item, I also received an e-mail asking about the product, did it arrive in time, was everything in the box or was something missing, was it damaged, etc. Everything was fine but it's great to know that Dagger Defense would probably fix any problems if I had any.Forget Magpul. Buy these and support an entrepeneur and veteran.

So far these BUIS look great on my Adams Arms piston AR15. I used the UTG .83 riser with my Sig STS-081 red dot for a lower 1/3 co-witness with the Dagger Defense sites. I plan to use this as my plinking rifle so high-end accessories were not an option. As you can see in the photos I'm using all inexpensive accessories from the sling to the quad rails and butt stock. The weather in KY is beyond wet this weekend however once I get it to the range and zero the BUIS I'll update this review. So far the sites seem solid and, in my opinion, look just fine. The photos aren't high quality but you'll get the general idea of how these look on a basic AR15.***UPDATE***I zeroed the sights and it took awhile. These are not the best sights in world but, for the money, I will leave the 5 star rating. It would be advisable to check the screws every time you take your rifle to the range. Loctite would also be a great idea as mine had worked loose from the initial install until I took it for zeroing. Again, this is my plinking gun so cheap is OK. If I planned to use this gun for self-defense I'd invest in a higher quality set of sights.

Update: having used the sights quite a bit now, I'm upping the 3 star to four. The slight tilt to the rear peep-sight is unnoticeable during use, the sights are solid, and function very smoothly after some oil and break-in. The seller contacted me about the issues I listed below and said they will work with their manufacturer on them--I was satisfied with the product and did not push for a refund or replacement. So now that use has had time to wear away my initial disappointment, I think I got a great product for the money and consider my initial complaints as minor defects that have zero bearing on the quality of the product. If I ever get the rifle I've been drooling over, I'm ordering another set of these for it too.Original review:I'll see if it gets better... I got the package and the seal was broken on the box. The rear peep portion of the sight doesn't appear bent or damaged, but sits at a noticeable angle in the place where windage adjustments are made. Since its a circle, I don't expect this to impact function, but it looks kinda bad. The sights themselves are heavy and feel very sturdy. The pushbutton to stand them up is currently very stiff, but I don't see that as a problem. They may break in, or at least I won't worry about deploying them on accident.Overall, I went with the cheap sight. Most times I feel like I got a great deal, this time I feel more like I got what I paid for. I shouldn't really complain much about that.

Very nice BUIS's. These sights are of solid construction and finished very nicely. They lock up very solid in both the up and down position. Great price for solid metal sights with powerful springs and locking system. Works perfect on my AR. I can look directly through my dot sight and all the sights line up perfectly. It is nice to know the dot sight does not need to be removed if it fails. Having the back peep sight, dot sight and easy adjustable front post sight all fall perfectly inline gives some extra confidence in the entire sight package on my AR. Very nice.
