This is referenced in a few places for making guitar pedals... the screws work great and recessed. easy to cut the aluminum case with drill bit if you strike it with a scratch owl first so the bit does not wander... prime or just paint it..

This enclosure takes some real geometry practice if you plan on using 2 jacks and a 9v battery. I barely made it work with a absolutely tiny pcb I made. Would work fine with 9v jack instead tho.
