I recently pulled out the old WII for my grandkids. I had high hopes for this gizmo. However, it does not work with TCL Roku TVs. On that note, I'm very disappointed. I thought about returning it but decided to keep it because it does at least convert the WII output to HDMI. If the manufacturer of this product ever makes the device compatible with TCL I hope they will have the good customer service sense to let me know.

Was skeptical but it works! Although the quality seems a little cheap

I was skeptical about this adapter after ordering it due to watching a Youtube video where a guy bought something similar and had badly-overdriven audio coming out of it. I've hooked this one up & played with it for a few minutes, and everything appears work just fine. The audio does not appear to be overdriven. I bought this to reduce clutter behind the entertainment center and because my TV's component inputs are partially blocked by the TV mount's arm. So far it seems to have met all of my expectations & done it at a great price point!

This product doesn't do anything. If anything all it does is make it worse, When I play with composite, there are no lines that go across my screen. The moment that I connected this product, I have some green lines going across my screen vertically. It is not the HDMI cable because the cable that I used was the same one that I had for my cable box which doesnt have a problem. Also the quality is exactly the same.I am very disappointed because I was truely looking forward to this device.Would NOT Recommend.

Shipped quickly. Product works as described. Understand this: there is no way to turn the 480i or 480p signal from the Wii and add the necessary detail to make it truly 1080p. You won't get any more detail. However, if your TV only has HDMI ports or your RCA ports are already in use, this is a good solution. My only complaint is that the unit is very long, so if you have a fairly shallow entertainment center, the Wii will stick off the front.

Works great, connect to back of wii, then use any hdmi cable and connect to tv. Pic quality is good and and sound is nice. Def better to connect one cable then the old way, looks better then the old wire that wii used.

Works great. Allowed me to connect my Wii to my new Denon receiver through the HDMI port. Sound and video come through the Surround sound and TV just fine. I wasn't expecting super fine HD quality from the Wii to begin with, after all it is only a Wii. But it works for me, the video isn't blurry. I will try switching between the two modes (720 and 1080) and see if there is any noticeable difference.
