This worked pretty well while it lasted, but less than a year into using it the little metal piece through which the string exits came off. Maybe that should be expected since the price is so much less than the OEM brand. I did expect more than a year use of it though.

Thus replacement head works pretty well.. it's a bit touchy on releasing the string. Plastic is not as durable feeling as the OEM one or I wold have given it 5 stars. For the price you can't go wrong it took about 5 minutes to replace.

This trimmer head set up and attached fine but one of the two plastic clips that attaches the spool to the other part broke the first time I used it. The seller replaced it, no questions asked. Thanks!

It installed easily and initially worked very well. However, after a handful of uses (I weedwhack maybe every other time I mow) it began getting stuck and flinging the line out. Turns out, the gear on the bump head don't fit well and it gets stuck open. Purchased this at the end of May, installed it mid June. It's now mid August and it's busted.

It fit my dewalt trimmer. I had previously tried to just add string to the Dewalt spool, but it was messy. This attachment works well.
