Searched high and low for replacement cartridge for my pegasus Glacier Bay faucet. Home depot listed the exact replacement-turned out to be the wrong one. This one is perfect! Took me 10 minutes to fix (with a little help from YouTube)

Worked great for me. Old cartridge was hard to pull out, Youtube video using vise-grips and a screwdriver as a lever worked. The new cartridge o-ring is thicker; use a liberal amount of silicone faucet grease on the o-ring to slide it in without it rolling up.

The Danco product is fine -- I totally recommend it.HOWEVER, it would be a good idea to have done a "test dismantle" of your faucet to make sure that the cartridge is your only problem.In my case, the old cartridge had been leaking long enough that the retaining nut had corroded and fallen apart. This is *NOT* a Danco problem, but it still meant that buying the cartridge wound up doing me no good at all. The Danco product fit perfectly, but I had no way to secure it in place. The upshot was that I wound up needing to replace the whole faucet, and not just the cartridge ...

I really needed this part to fix my leaky faucet. The hot water valve was leaking inside the handle. But this part fixed the problem in no time. No more leaks.

Resolved the leak; however, the plastic protrusions on either side of the stem and immediately below the O-ring were not as pronounced as on the original stem. This allowed the stem to turn inside of my Pegasus facet when turning the water on or off.NOTE: Another reviewer stated that they observed the same problem.I was able to resolve the problem by gently squeezing, with a pair of plyers, the circular opening on the Pegasus facet where the stem slides into. This compensated for the smaller tabs on the stem and restricted the stem from turning more than a quarter turn when turning the faucet handle. However, the first time I squeezed the opening a little too much and the faucet leaked around the O-ring on the stem. (Presumably I pinched the O-ring). I corrected this and everything is working well now and has been for several weeks.
