When assembled as the directions indicated there is no support for the seal at the end of the feed hose. There also appears to be a groove or crack in the area where the o-ring is supposed to seal near the end of it's feed hose inside the units handle. All the parts are there as compared to the directions. From either one or both causes the thing dribbles water from the handles base whenever the faucet is on, so now it lives flopped into the sink otherwise the water would drip down into the cabinet under the sink. I'll machine an aluminum spacer to support the seal properly and hopefully that fixes the problem. This is the second one of these that I tried to use. I had another one from a different retailer that was defective so I returned it thinking that it was an isolated defect and ordered this one. A sink sprayer isn't rocket science but this thing isn't close to being even basic quality.

Like other buyers here my old Dancs (big-box buy) sink sprayer's plastic trigger broke after about 6 months. I bought this new one and installed it in minutes. The new one leaked badly until I noticed that a 22mm o-ring that was on the base of the old sprayer was not supplied on the new one. I grabbed the old o-ring and installed it on the new unit and voila - no more leak! The quality control on this thing was very very poor if you consider how few parts there are on this and one very important one was left out of the package. I almost cut my finger on a burr on the plastic thread on the base of the handle. Gotta love the line in the description "Constructed of durable plastic for strength and reliability" Ha! If it were I would not be buying a new one after 6 months. I think I'm going to have to step up my game and buy a real stainless steel sprayer after this one snaps in half in a few months.

Replaced the older one of the same brand and model. Old one worked for at least 6+ years, so I suppose it's an ok quality (or used to be).Feels expectedly cheap, but works. I got what I paid for and it works.

Nothing universal. Product did not work with existing hose assembly.

Like many other commenters for this product, my main complaints are 1) when I installed it it leaked badly from the bottom; and 2) the color is definitely more black than it is oil-rubbed bronze. The leak was really annoying, but I'm not one to give up easily. I tried several things to get the leaking to stop and what finally worked was using a rubber o-ring (not provided with the item) instead of the provided c-clip. There is clearly a design flaw in this item, but it can be overcome with a bit of ingenuity (and a rubber o-ring). Regarding the color, since there is no set standard for the color "oil-rubbed bronze", I decided to just accept that the color of this item was "somewhat" close. This was replacing an original side sprayer on a Blanco America faucet.

Looks great, easy to install. As other reviewers have commented it doesn't seem to hold up. Bought the first one at the local store and it lasted about 8 months. Something internally broke and was leaking all over. Found the exact same one one on Amazon for a few bucks less than the store. It's installed and working great, for now. Figure on replacing it again but for the money it's disposable!

UPDATED REVIEW:Well, it fell apart. Completely. The trigger button fell off repeatedly, then the seals started to fail. Now it doesn't turn off. We have to store it inside a cup in the sink until I get a replacement, because it always sprayed. We learned this when it leaked right down the spray hose tube thing and filled the cabinet below the sink before spilling out onto the floor. NOT RECOMMENDED.Original review:I am absolutely pleased with this sprayer. We had gone through a couple replacement from the home stores that were terrible (including the nicest one they sold). They worked okay from the start but quickly deteriorated and sprayed in all directions, including back at us from holes that opened up in the molded plastic. This one feels and operates much better than the others. If it breaks down over time I'll update my review, but at this point I expect it will be a much better product.Double-check the connection type (no photos here, just a list of compatible brands which you can use in Google Images or your local home store to compare with what you already have) to make sure this will work for you. I had to connect a different hose type to mine as the hose connector on my old one had also worn out. If your hose is in good shape you should be able to pull out the retaining clip from the old one (after unscrewing the main body) and then put this one on in its place (after replacing the base, which is just a matter of unscrewing the old one and screwing this one in its place, which requires two people for most sinks because it's such a reach to get to both sides).

We had to replace the side spray on our Koehler kitchen faucet. We replaced it with the Koehler K-10101-BN Accent Kitchen Sidespray; the Koehler side spray came with a hose, which was attached to a proprietary ball head. This should have protected the hose from breaking, but within 6 months, the Koehler hose broke. Unfortunately, we could not replace the hose by itself, since the entire assembly was a set. I was tired of wasting money. The Dando side spray 9D00010337, is almost identical with the Koehler, which matched our kitchen faucet, so I bought this side spray along with a stainless steel reenforced hose (which is what I should have done in the first place). The Danco side spray fit the hose well and the entire assembly easily fit our Koehler faucet. The side spray has a narrow opening, so the spray is forceful. The guide, fit our stainless steel sink well, and allows the hose to pull out and retract easily. The quality of this sprayer is superior to the Koeler, so if you're thinking about buying the Koeher K-10101, don't waste your money. Buy this sprayer and attach it to the braided stainless steel hose: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058FQJL6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
