The length of the arms is shorter than my previous harness, making it harder to open the top of my crab pot and to find locations for the clips that are equal distance around the pot.The stainless clips are far too small for clipping directly to a rubber-wrapped crab pot frame. They would work well for a wire trap, but I ended up needing to clip to the escape rings and hinge for the top; not at all ideal. Also the main ring attachment is not stainless. So far after one use everything is fine, but I'm worried that the poly line won't last; wish it was nylon para-cord.

Harness is well made with built in metal fasteners for crab pot and a metal ring at the top to hook a rope to. I don't think it is heavy enough for a rebar commercial size pot, but it works really well with a square danielson crab pot. It's easy to use with everything already assembled are ready to go.Price on amazon was cheaper than at the local boat and fishing supply store.

I use this to replace the strings that came with crab net. I don't think I will ever lose my crab net in the ocean due to the broken strings anymore.

I've used a lot of different versions of this, and this is by far the best one I've used. Great quality stainless steel clips, great rope, great knots, great everything. I know this is a minor part in a crab trap setup, but this version of it is so much better than everything else I've seen that I had to comment.
