Love my Darn Tough socks. Usually I get the hiking ones, bought these just as good. They are however thiner than my hiking ones, similar to dress socks in their feel

Light weight. Lasts forever. Should you ever wear them out they’ll send you a new pair.

This was not the droid I was looking for, I honestly thought that the sole would be cushioned. Part of the blame may be mine because I know when I was shopping that alot of the sock options suddenly became unshippable to my location, I had to go looking for variants that would ship and I think I may have accidentally gotten something I had not intended. However, I will give these a fair shake and continue to use them as regular socks and see if even these really thin, light socks have the legs to last a lifetime of normal usage as the advertising suggests.

These socks are extremely thin, which should help keep my feet cool. I bought them for that reason, the breathability of wool.I’ve hiked in 3 different pairs of DT socks for years, the very best hiking socks. They show no signs of wear at all after MANY hard mountain mikes. Hopefully these thin casual socks will be as durable as those have been

Comfortable and seem durable enough. Even if issues occur, they have an easy lifetime warranty to get them replaced.

The pair of Darn Tough socks I bought in early 2021 or late 2020 are the same now as when I bought them. They still do not show any obvious wear. I have replaced other brands which have worn out - heel hole, big toe hole, but not these. The reason I’m on here writing this now is because I was researching when and where I bought them and saw this invitation to review them sent to me in January of 2021. Well. I guess I’ve given them a long enough test ride and now on here to buy some more. These are definitely comfortable quality socks built to last….no loose threads, no snags, no raveling, no holes.

I wear these year-round. And for several years now. Wash these cold. Dry at room temperature. I stock up on these every year. So comfortable and they are really darn tough. Seem to last forever.Important to note though……….The Charcoal with red toe (XL) are, for some reason, about an inch longer than their other colors. So I have only been buying the Charcoal color (which looks nearly black to me). And have stopped buying their other colors. Even though they are all labeled XL Crew size. Something to keep in mind and consider.EDIT….I just ordered another pair but have to return them because when I matched them up to my recent orders, the pair was smaller and skinnier than the last dozen I purchased. Watch what you get because every once in a while I get a pair that is smaller than the x large I always order. They may be inadvertently packaging the wrong size in the x large packaging. I don’t know. But I buy so many of these that maybe it happens.

I rarely write reviews but I purchased a handful of these about 4 years ago and they still are in fantastic shape. The material is great because they keep me warm in cold months but are still breathable in the summer. I had to pick up some more in other colors because I like to support good quality products.

Incredible socks, I was very hesitant to buy at first because of the lifetime warranty. But after 30 wears I am impressed. I was convinced I was going to return them just for principle of it if they didn't last. But wow these socks are the best I have ever owned. If you buy these socks you won't be disappointed. I am not a big reviewer but I had to mention these socks they are awesome.

Love these socks. Got my first 3 pairs for Christmas from my son. I just ordered another 5 pairs. Got tired of replacing my socks every couple months. These are guaranteed for life. They are very comfortable and warm.

With so many high-star reviews, I was really looking forward to these socks, sure that a new world of comfort and durability was going to come. The socks that arrived, however, aren't what I was expecting. The craftsmanship seems good with neat seams and nothing frayed, but the material is thin and doesn't fit well on my feet or calves. By the end of the day, the top of the sock is at my ankles and the toes have twisted around so much that the designed spot for my big toe is instead at the middle toe, pointing outward, making my foot like like an arrow. If I had struggles with other socks, I would be more willing to blame my feet... but the standard, cheap socks have never done this - they stay up on my calves, they don't twist around - and they manage to keep my feet warm, but these are cold, irritating, and just generally uncomfortable. Maybe I set my hopes too high, but it seems strange to me that cheapo socks from Walmart are warmer, fit better, and stay up better than these... though I assume that the Darn Tough socks have better longevity.Still, at the end of the day, I'd rather pay $20 for a six-pack of socks that I wear for a year and make my feet feel good than $30 for a single pair of socks that last for five but are uncomfortable.
